I was the type of customer that most realtors would run from: not only was I limited in my funds for buying my first home, but I was also very particular about what I wanted. I was looking for a starter house that had plenty of potential, but would not need in-depth renovation right away. I wanted to live close to downtown Portland, yet I had a hard time finding houses I could afford in the areas I wanted to live in. In all truth, I was looking for a perfect deal in the perfect place that was charming, besides. Sondra McFeters was the one who made sure that the house I bought was the right one.

She never let me give up on finding the right house, even when we would look at five in a row & none of them met my expectations. She was always on top of the paperwork process and could coach me on what I needed to know about becoming a first-time homeowner. Furthermore, she was an acute observer of homes we were viewing. She was always ready to explain what I would need in time and resources to repair or update a prospective home – even if it meant discouraging me from a particular house.
